Anguilla

Junior Fleming's glass-bottom boat plies Shoal Bay's waters daily. You can "snorkel" just by looking through the glass bottom, but--in Junior's capable hands--you will choose to get into the water.

More than the villa, its amenities, or its location, you will love its people. Alleyne ("Tessa") Patrick will make "her" home "your" home.

BCV is a great hub for an Anguilla wedding: you bring your partner, and we help you do the rest. Officiant, florists, caterers, musicians, and photographers. Make your memories at BeachCourt Villa.

The Dune Preserve, home of Bankie Banx (playing with Johnny "Springer" Lloyd) is on Rendezvous Bay. Anguilla is home to great music.

"Boss and the Horsepower Band," another of the Anguillian groups that will get you up and moving. These gentlemen were playing on Merry Wing Bay. Shoal Bay is great, but you've got to get out and see our other beautiful beaches.

Sprocka--one of Anguilla's "musical all-stars": varied genres, singer, and master of all instruments

Omari Banks, playing at Da Vida, on Crocus Bay....hardest part of Sunday? To which venues to go to hear which music....so many choices

Sandy Ground, also known as "Road Bay" to boaters...a west-face bay, home to Johnno's, Roy's Place, Dolce Vita, Sand Bar, Dad's, Lit Lounge, and Elvis...known for good reason as "the real McCoy."

Island Harbour--home of Pelican Bar, Falcon's Nest, Scilly Cay, and Anguilla's fishing fleet--is a short drive from BCV. Go to one of those fine restaurants, or stop by the pier and buy fresh fish from one of the fisherfolk.

Junior Fleming is Shoal Bay's ambassador to the world: children love him, and he makes adults feel young. His knowledge of Anguilla's undersea life is encyclopedic.
Grounds

Pool viewed from beach path steps...come off the beach, rinse inside the gate, and throw yourself in the pool...with or without a refreshing beverage

Taken during original construction (circa 2003)...surroundings have changed a lot, but the house's location relative to the beach has not. There is more sand to the west (right in this picture), and the water is swimmable directly in front of the house.

BeachCourt Villa is directly behind/above the tennis court. The white house to the court's right is another private home; Zemi Beach Hotel to BCV's left (note large privacy hedges on either side of BCV property). This was taken pre-Irma, so this shows the old court and pergola. The hurricane brought more sand to our (western) end of Shoal Bay. Some times the coral in the lower right is completely covered by sand, extending the beach to the west. There is rarely ever less sand than shown here.

The lighter sea is sand; the darker is coral....swim over the sand; snorkel around the coral (that's where the fish are).

A quiet Shoal Bay just outside of the BeachCourt gate. Taken in the off-season; yes, there will be beach chairs but the sea and sand do not change

When the fish arrive, the birds are not far behind. Watching them fly, spot, dive, and bob is captivating
Bedrooms

The 2nd floor of the West Wing, shown here, is at pool level and has two bedrooms/baths, separated on the interior but joined by this exterior covered deck.

West Wing second floor east bedroom. All west wing bedrooms have vanities within them as well as their own bathrooms.

This bathroom goes with 2nd floor east bedroom (behind the photographer). The far open door is locked when both rooms are occupied, as the far room has its own bath

West Wing 2nd floor west bedroom. That bathroom door usually closed, as it serves adjoining bedroom. This bedroom has its own full bath (in addition to vanity, shown) within the suite (see next photo).

West wing 2nd floor west bedroom. That bathroom door is normally closed (serves adjoining bedroom); bathroom for this room is through door on right

Main house to right. West wing 2nd floor to left. Stairs down to west wing 1st floor bedrooms. It is always a sensory delight to descend these stairs.

West wing 1st floor east bedroom. Bathroom through door on left. Slider to deck in center of picture

West wing 1st floor west bedroom. Vanity in bedroom permits make-up application, hair-drying, etc while bathroom is otherwise occupied.
House

The main house--with its Great Room and two upstairs bedrooms--on left. West Wing--two stories with a total of four bedrooms--on right. "Tennis court" apartment is immediately beneath pool deck (door flanked by windows).

Court viewed with back to the sea__same perspective as drone shot. Main house to left; west wing to right

Entrance foyer_stairs to left to main house bedrooms. Downstairs to great room, great room deck, pool, and beach

30 linear feet of counters plus a 35 square foot island, with wide aisles make the kitchen at BCV a cook's paradise

Behind the stove or other side of island, watching (or helping)? Either way, you're in the right place

This funny little area does not face the beach but is a remarkably soothing place to sit. Also, a good place when you are awaiting the arrival of one of your party

Parking area (not shown) to left. This path--through lush vegetation--goes past the house, pool, and court--to the beach gate. The house is on a hill; the property goes directly to the sand.

Twilight is magical...but later, turn off all of the lights and enjoy the stars, planets, and shooting stars. When the moon is full, you can read by it

We cannot guarantee this astronomical arrangement every night, but every night brings you another stunning astronomy show

On the 2nd floor of the main house are two bedrooms, separate on the interior but served by a covered , travertine deck. In this shot, the east bedroom is closer; west bedroom farther
Tennis Court

This two-tone, rubber-backed carpeted court sits about 15 feet above sea-level and the white sands of Shoal Bay. It plays as beautifully as it looks.

The court can be put to many uses...BCV supports Anguilla youth tennis (but the court is exclusively yours when you are there). Coaches looking to bring their "best customers" or "high performance" players for a session of hard-work will find all manner of teaching balls, baskets, etc. for efficient and magnificent coaching setting.

You can play very serious tennis and work on your game. You can "hit-and-grin," or you can walk on by the court down to the beach or up to the pool. You're in charge

Old court and pergola but the sea and the sky remain the same and look like this virtually every day.
